Don't worry, I'm not sad...
We are having a baby BOY!!!
A couple of weeks ago, we had a small gender reveal with close friends and family. The moment we found out I was pregnant we started talking about having a gender reveal party. It was important to us to have a surprise in this pregnancy. When you do fertility treatments many of the surprises in the beginning are not the same than if you were to get pregnant naturally. So, having a gender reveal was the perfect solution! Now... I am a sonographer... therefore, keeping the gender a surprise was not a small task. Also, because I scanned myself at work AND I was scanned so much between my three doctors.... it was a true miracle we made it to 17 weeks still not knowing the sex! However, at 10 weeks I did start to have a STRONG sense there was a baby boy growing in my belly. The day before the big reveal, we got the test results showing baby boy was healthy. I have said many times... I didn't care if the cupcake revealed boy or girl. I wanted it to say our baby was healthy. God answered our prayers and we were able to really enjoy this special time. Our dear friends, Jennifer & Derek and Megan & Justin are AMAZING and put together the sweetest gender reveal party EVER. My very talented friend, Jennifer, did most of the planning and prepping and no stone was left unturned. She is also a talented photographer and took all these pictures. Yes, I know I am very blessed to have her as my friend!
How cute are the details! We went with a blue and yellow colors. When you arrived at the party you picked either a bow or a mustache. Bow for baby girl and mustache for baby boy:)
The food was amazing! Our friend, Justin, had the brilliant idea to do hotdogs and hamburgers... get it???
Miss Lyla June is Megan and Justin's precious little girl. She is such and doll! Everyone took their turns loving on her...

We divided into teams... most of the women picked baby boy and most of the men picked baby girl:) TEAM BOY ROCKS!
Time for the big reveal!!!! Jennifer was the only one who knew baby Lew's gender. She made the yummy cupcakes that would either have blue or yellow in the center. We were able to Skype with my sister Sally and Will who could not make it to the reveal!
