We have arrived...

Getting my game face on!!

Well, I am now 100% sure the next step is IVF.  Today, my worst enemy decided to pay me an unwelcome visit and I'm not one bit happy about it.  Tomorrow, I will be calling the nurse and probably starting on BCPs in the next few days.  I have definitely shed some tears this afternoon.   I had hoped this month that something incredible would happen and we might not have to head down the IVF path. However, it wasn't in the books for us and my heavenly father has been planning to do this treatment all along.  I will be shedding some more tears tonight but tomorrow, oh tomorrow, is a new day and I will rejoice and be glad in it!!! 

I'm coming to the realization there is no going back now, we are doing IVF.  We have arrived my friends. I love what my sister said to me tonight, "now is when you put your game face on and beat this."  TAKE THAT INFERTILITY!  Prayer warriors we need you.

FuN iN tHe SuN: FaMiLy VaCaTiOn

Last week, my parents took the entire family to Destin, Fl.  For six days I did nothing but swim, play, and eat.  HANDS DOWN, this was one of the best trips I've been on.  I cannot remember the last time I spent a week with my family.  Gosh... I miss them!  We had CRAZY FUN!!

Majority of the time was spent at the bigger house with the nice pool.  The kids were the superstars.  Will, Abbi, and Anna Kate learned how to jump in the pool and swim to the other end. Carter just perfected his pool skills.

Did you know my nephew, Carter, is a human cannon ball?  Well, here is the proof...

We had a blast.  Nothing to do but play and relax.  My two favorite things to do!!!

We went to the pier to fish. Carter (but really Dad), Sally, and I caught fish.  Jeremy and Ted caught nothing proving the fact that girls rule and boys drool.

We celebrated my sweet hubby's 27th birthday.  I made a yummy cake and we all sang happy birthday.  He made a birthday wish.  I bet you can guess what his wish was!?

Every day we went to the beach.  The weather was perfect.  We made drip castles, tunnels, and buried all the kids.  I had blisters on my fingers from all the digging I did.  It was a workout!

Riding the waves was the biggest hit! We did it over and over again!
